My wife and I had been thinking about our dream retirement for some time. We spent countless hours searching along the east coast, and quickly began to focus and do more research about life on Hilton Head Island. And of course, we found John’s videos. There are other agents who make videos talking about the low country and other areas, but John’s are simply the best. They are informative and fun, and John’s experience and personality really come through. We found ourselves watching everything he posted, even when the subject wasn’t of direct interest to us, we always learned something.

So after trips to HHI confirmed that this was the place for us, we naturally reached out to John to become our buyer’s agent. When we first met in person, it was like we already knew him. Navigating real estate in a resort community is difficult. Doing it remotely from 1000 miles away is harder. During the end of a pandemic is worse. And during the biggest real estate run up of a lifetime makes for a high wire act that you want nothing short of the most experienced professional on your side. John was that for us, and guided us on the path to our dream home. It wasn’t easy in this market, but with John and his team’s help, we got there.

Besides John’s background (and all the great professionals he pointed us towards to help – lenders, inspectors, insurance agents, etc.), the “arms and legs” of the operation was Jordan Knight, one of the agents on the John Weber Team. Jordan was great, running from house to house, scoping things out, taking videos, and giving us good, honest feedback. He made himself available at all times. Weekends, holidays, you name it. Jordan was on the ball. We had a lot of false starts and near misses along the way, but Jordan was always a willing partner. Searching delayed listings, driving past places, and giving us virtual tours.
