My husband and I decided to move from the Seattle, Wa area to the Bluffton area upon his retirement. We had seen advertisements for a particular community and decided to reach out to a realty agency for representation. After searching we decided The John Weber Team would be perfect. Luckily we talked to Carolyn Welch. From the very first phone conversation we knew we were in good hands. Carolyn was with us every step of the way. My wife Pam and I were researching 55+ communities back in 2021. We were living in Southern California at the time. While looking at YouTube videos, we discovered The John M. Weber Team videos. Krista was our super-agent who showed us so many areas, properties and homes during our search. She was patient and thorough, never showing us anything she didn’t think was right for us: newly retired couple moving to the low country to find a great neighborhood. My relationship with Chris Rickey and the John Weber Team started almost 2 years before we closed on our home in Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head. I had researched the realtors and agents in the area to ensure our property could be monitored by an experienced and trustworthy agent. We hit the lottery with Chris Rickey. She assisted us with the Hilton Head area search, visit and ultimately our purchase. Over the course of our construction she updated us with photos, emails and area information to consider for our move. The cherry on top of our experience was her (and husband's) willingness to help receive our vehicle that had arrived before we did. Since I was out-of-state throughout most of my building what a benefit it was to have Christina be an actual resident in Latitude Margaritaville. She would promptly answer any questions I had along the process and send me progress pictures as well as run over to my construction when specific needs arose. When I was able to be present she always made time for me and passed along helpful hints and guidance. It was especially joyous to share my closing celebration with her and develop a true friendship along the way. I don't think you will be disappointed to let her accompany you on your building journey!!
