Blog: A September To Remember – The John Weber Team Wins Best Real Estate Team in the Lowcountry
The weather might be getting a little chillier, but The John Weber Team has been heating up! I have finally revealed a secret I have been holding since July, and it has been tough to keep this from you. Back in June, our team was made aware that the community had nominated us as Lowcountry’s Best Real Estate Team. Lowcountry’s Best is a special program through The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette that recognizes the best local businesses and announces them annually through their magazine. Over 152,000 people ended up voting! The winners were announced in Lowcountry’s Best September category, and with over 150 real estate teams in the Lowcountry, it is truly an honor that we get to call ourselves “The Best.” Considering we are a newer brokerage team, this title encompasses all of the hard work and diligence that our real estate agents put into their work and the trust our clients have in us. We wanted to personally thank our clients, family members, and friends who voted for us – It means the world.
Speaking of our wonderful clients — I recently was able to sit down and chat with one of our clients for a YouTube video, and it was such a wonderful experience. Anne Prianti and her husband, John, recently moved to the Sun City community in May. Anne and John had lived in Atlanta, Georgia, and were trying to find the perfect place to retire. They even traveled in their RV to the Florida panhandle, scouting areas for their future retirement, but nothing seemed to fit. It wasn’t until her husband, John, brought up Hilton Head Island – a place they had visited many years prior. She found my YouTube channel through her online research of Bluffton and Hilton Head Island communities!
She had initially started her communication with another realtor but found them to be unresponsive, and she felt like they weren’t listening to her wants and needs. She then decided to call The John Weber Team and immediately got in touch with Preferred Agent Carolyn Welch. Within a few hours, Carolyn had sent Anne over homes that fit exactly what they were looking for. This wasn’t a quick move either – Anne and John moved to Bluffton after three visits and a year of communicating back and forth with Carolyn.
Anne and John also had to deal with the process of listing their home in Atlanta, Georgia. After two failed listing presentations, Anne called Carolyn to vent about the frustration over listing their home and being told they needed to lower their pricing expectations. Carolyn found them a local Atlanta listing agent who ended up selling their home OVER what they had expected. Carolyn then helped them finalize everything to purchase their dream home in Sun City. Speaking with Anne and diving deep into her experience with Carolyn as she guided her through the home-buying process made me realize that we have such a dynamic team. It’s heart-warming that our community recognized The John Weber Team as the best, but it’s even more gratifying when our clients recognize our devotion to finding them their perfect home.
